In recent years, the countries of Central Asia have been taking various measures to attract foreign investment. In purpose of proper understanding by member companies of the investment policy in the countries of Central Asia, the General Operations Department of the International Chamber of Commerce of China in partnership with the Bishkek International Court of Arbitration for Mining and Commerce, organizes a seminar on investment legislation in the countries of Central Asia.
The event will be attended by Chinese legal experts in Central Asia, arbitrators of the Bishkek International Court of Arbitration for Mining and Commerce, legal experts of the Commercial Legal Expert Committee of the Jilin International Trade Development Council, and Mr. Mo Yu from the Xinjiang Law Firm for Commerce will also make a presentation.
The event will focus on the following topics:
1) Attraction of 2 (two) billion US dollars by Kazakhstan for exploration and expansion of production capacities, how to attract foreign investment by signing special investment contracts; how to attract foreign investment by concluding special investment contracts;
2) Implementation by Uzbekistan of full privatization, through the transformation of existing operating mechanisms, participation of state shares in shares, sale at open auction, sale of state enterprises, public auction of state shares, sale of state real estate to individual business entities;
3) Implementation by Kyrgyzstan of reforms in the exploration and production of minerals, as well as the introduction of a system of product sharing;

5) Inspection issues of Chinese mining enterprises importing mineral products from Central Asian countries;
6) Functions of the Bishkek International Court of Arbitration for Subsoil and Commerce, the scope of arbitration, etc.;
7) Legal system of nationalization and state compensation for enterprises with Chinese investments in the countries of Central Asia;
8) Impact of the Eurasian Economic Union on Chinese investment and trade;
9) Application of the construction and technical code FIDIC of the World Federation of Engineers in the countries of Central Asia;
